Rare Lufft aircraft altimeter thermometer compendium used by U.S. Army in the airplanes most likely for surveying and reconnaissance missions. Is made of aluminum to be light. The device was made in Germany in 1940’s. The altimeter dial goes from 0 to 26000 feet and the barometer dial from 10-31 in/hg. The thermometer scale runs from 10 F to 110 F. The device comes with original leather case and original War Department correction card calibrated in 1955. The device is functional. Dimensions: 100mm diameter and 42 mm height .
