Zero Stock-Antique Two Draw Monocular Telescope Made in France
A rare example of a two draw guilted brass, monocular or Galilean telescope made in the first half of 1800’s. The beautiful signature of the maker is present on the first draw “ Gonicon Palace de Victorel a Paris”. The small telescope focuses clear and is just 105 mm open and 60 mm closed and 48mm diameter.
A small chip is present on the object lens. This type of telescope was a fashion accessory designed to fit in the pocket.
