SOLD A good example of medium size six draw brass telescope made In England in the last half of 1800s. The telescope focuses clear from the second draw following the eye piece. Has a nice mahogany wood veneer cover. Dimensions: 31 inch span when opened and 7 inch when closed and 40 mm object lens. Due to its compact size the device had many users, from the boat captain, cavalry officer or early explorer. The telescope was cleaned and restored by a fellow collector. Excellent for sightseeing and hiking.
