Antique Pocket Altimeter Barometer JJ Hicks London
This is a late 19th century pocket altimeter barometer made by the well-known scientific instruments maker JJ Hicks from London. The silver barometer dial goes from 21-31 inches and the altimeter scale from zero to 10,000 feet adjusted by a bezel. The body of the altimeter is made of brass with nice patina. The dove tail hardwood case is heavy duty most likely made for military use. Device dimensions: 50mm diameter and 17mm height. Dimensions of the case is 90mmx 90mm x 37 mm. The device is still functional.
