Excellent example of impressive 3 draw nautical ships telescope day or night style. The telescope is made of brass and leather in the last half of 1800’s by well known telescope maker and optician F. M. Newton from Halifax England. This is a functional telescope in very good condition with smooth draw action and 40 mm object lens. The telescope has some minimal wear and tear on the draws and the leather cladding is a bit dried out due to the age and is flacking. Dimensions: 39 inches with the sun shade open and 36 inches when sunshade is closed, 13 1/4 inches closed. Excellent display item!!!
