SOLD Fine example of a late 19th Century brass microscope signed "Armstrong & Bro. 88 and 90 Deansgate. Manchester" . The microscope comes in a fitted mahogany case, complete with an eyepiece lens, and objective lens and some extra accessories. The microscope is made of lacquered brass. It tilts, has a rack and pinion main focus and additional fine focus. It has a square brass stage with a manually adjustable slide rest. Below the stage is a large adjustable mirror.
Excellent condition for the age. Dimensions of the case 11 x 7 x 5 inches.
