SOLD A excellent example of small three draw brass telescope made In England in the mid 1800s. The telescope focuses clear from the first draw following the eye piece. Has a nice mahogany wood barrel, nice patina and an unusual eyepiece . Dimensions: 151/2 inch span when opened and 5 inch when closed and 28 mm object lens. Due to its compact size the device had many users, from the boat captain, cavalry officer or early explorer. Excellent for sightseeing and hiking.
