A good example of a six draw brass telescope made In England in the mid 1800s. The telescope focuses clear from the second draw following the eye piece. The telescope has has most likely 25x power and has just a couple small chips present on the edge of the second eye piece lens. The telescope has excellent dark brass patina. Dimensions: 30 inch span when opened, 7 inch when closed and 40 mm object lens. Due to its compact size the device had many users, from the boat captain, cavalry officer or early explorer. Excellent for sightseeing and hiking.
