SOLD This is rare example of a WW1 era antique explorers pocket altimeter barometer made by the well-known scientific instruments maker Dollond from London. The silver barometer dial goes from 23-31 inches and the altimeter scale from zero to 8,000 feet adjusted by a bezel with a dialing knob.
The rare hunter case body of the altimeter is made of nickel covered brass and is in excellent condition.
