Here is a fine example of a small plane table compass made by Keuffel & Esser Co. New York. The device is combination of a compass and clinometer compendium. The compass is made of brass and has 45 mm diameter silvered face with a magnetic needle resting on a red stone jewel. It also has a locking system on the side. The second brass hand is for the clinometer. The condition of the compass is excellent with minimal wear and tear and has nice patina.
