Excellent example of small tin oil or kerosene lantern marked Universal No 2 R. O. & C. Co. used in early 1900’s in darkrooms to develop photography. The lantern has one front 4 inch x 3 1/2 inch sliding ruby red glass. The lantern comes also with a original burner, nice unusual big handle and side wick adjustment knob. Dimensions: 8 1/2 height and diameter of the base 4 is inches Great display item with nice patina some original red paint.
