SOLD Here is a good example of a nice set of brass and iron drawing instruments made in the late 1800's most likely in Germany. This type of instruments was used in maritime navigation by sailors, architects and mechanical engineers. The well fitted mahogany wood case incorporate a combination of 14 instruments: three compass dividers with additional accessories, a proportional divider, a pen and a brass protractor. The wooden case is in very good condition with a minimal loss of veneer at the bottom. The locking key and the rulers were lost over time.
