Sold Excellent example of Coleman model 200A pressure lantern made in January 1957. The lantern is in excellent condition for the age. A few minor scratches on the reservoir and a dent on the chimney The lantern works with white gas. The lantern comes in a rare early custom made or limited edition tin and carboard case with a unique spring loading system.
Pressure lanterns burn kerosene, white gas vapor, not liquid, so this must be preheated with a flame in order to heat the fuel so that it vaporizes and causes the mantle to glow. Dimensions: of the box 14 inches x 6 3/4 inches x 6 6 3/4 inches.
Excellent for camping or emergency !!!
