SOLD This is an excellent example of a floating card compass made in England in the last half of 19th century. It is a small version of the nautical compasses used by sailors on a small vessel. This particular piece has a brass case and wonderful paper floating card and a dome shaped top. Dimensions: 50mm diameter and 22mm height.
