SOLD Here is a rare example of a tapered barrel 3 draw telescope made by Ryland & Son London in 1916 for Scout Regiment. The markings on the telescope : TEL SIG (MK IV) ALSO G.S. RYLAND & SON LTD LONDON 1916 9983. The telescope is made of brass leather and the eye dust cover has a second darker filter. The device is in very good condition with sharp image. Dimensions: 35 inches open, 11 inches closed and 55mm diameter object lens. The telescope focuses pushing and puling slowly in and out the first draw near the eye. One of the leather lens cover was lost. Excellent for sightseeing!
