Zero Stock-Antique Field Telescope Spyglass Made in England
Here is a fine example small field telescope with nice veneer cover from the last quarter of the 19th century. The telescope is in very good condition and has sharp image, a well preserved patina with a few small imperfections (a couple of small cracks in the veneer) . The telescope is most likely British made. Dimensions: 13 1/2 inches open, 6 inches closed and 22 mm diameter object lens. Due to its compact size the device had many users,from the boat captain, cavalry officer or early explorer. Excellent for sightseeing and hiking.
