Excellent example of vintage Wilesco Toy Steam Roller model D405 made in West Germany.
This is a mobile live-steam engine with a nice chain steering and vertical boiler layout. The engine has dual functionality, the gear drive can be disengaged by a small level, allowing the mobile tractor to operate as a stationary steam engine or to move accessory.
The device is powered by dry solid fuel tablets (Esbit) placed in a tray beneath the nickel-plated brass boiler. The device is in excellent condition for the age. Look like was newer fired.(no burning signs around the boiler just a bit of oxidation).
