Sold-This is an excellent example of a floating card table compass made in France in the early 1900’s. It is a small version of the nautical compasses used by sailors on a small vessel. This particular piece has a nice acrylic case and wonderful paper floating card glued on mahogany wood board. Dimensions: 50 mm face and overall 4 in 4 in 3 in . The compass glows nicely under a table light.
