An excellent example of early three draw brass telescope made in England in the first quarter of 1800’s. The signature of George Willson scientific instruments maker from London is present on the eye piece cover. The telescope focuses clear from the first draw following the eye piece. Has a nice patina and mahogany wood barrel. Dimensions: 33 inch span when opened and 10 1/2 inch when closed and 40 mm object lens. The telescope comes with original Morocco leather and wood case. The case is missing the ends and the telescope has some wear and tear due to the age. A few chips are present on the object lens but there are not obstructing the view. Excellent display item.
