SOLD A good example of a six draw brass telescope made In England in the mid 1800s signed A. Routledge Carlisle. The telescope focuses clear from the second draw following the eye piece. Has a nice dark color ballen cover. Some wear and tear due to the age a just few dents present on the second draw near the object lens and a small piece of cover material missing from the main draw. Dimensions: 21 inches span when opened and 5 inches when closed and 30 mm object lens. Due to its compact size the device had many users, from the boat captain, cavalry officer or early explorer. Excellent for sightseeing and hiking.
