SOLD This is an excellent example of a small floating card compass made most likely in France in late 1700’s or early 1800’s. The date 1814 and signature of one of the owners present on the back of the lid. This particular piece has a oak wood case and wonderful paper floating card. Some wear and tear due to the age, the small wooden top is missing one portion and the rim. Dimensions: 52 mm diameter and 18 mm height.
