This piece was made in the early 1900s  by the well-known scientific instrument maker Stanley from London. The sextant comes in an  anodized brass cylindrical body including: a vernier scale with fine markings (divided 0-140), index arm, one index and one horizon mirror, small round adjusting tool,  magnifying  glass and adjustable green and red filters. The original leather case is a bit dry due to the age.
