Excellent example of a bigger than average upright steam engine Weeden Model 157. The eigne was made in mid 1920's and is in excellent condition for the age, Markings on the boiler : "WEEDEN TRADEMARK REG US PAT OFF" . The engine has majority of the original parts including the side pressure valve and the sliding spirit burner tray. The boiler is made of nickel covered brass with nice patina. The he whistle could be a latter addition and is stuck. Making a short test the engine still runs smoothly. Dimensions : cast iron base is 5 inches by 5 inches and is 14 inches tall.
