This is an excellent example aluminum case surveying high altitude aneroid barometer/altimeter made by well known scientific instruments maker Taylor (Tycos) for Eugene Dietzgen Co. Inc. Chicago and New York in early 1900’s. The 70 mm silvered barometer dial goes 22- 31 inches, and the altimeter scale goes from 0 - 10000 feet. The device comes with a nice original leather pouch.
