This pocket Omnimeter compendium made by Mikasa & Co Tokyo Kyobashi Japan in mid 1900's combines a compass, clinometer, hand level, contact level, therefore will indicate magnetic bearings, azimuth angles, altitudes, levels and slopes. The combination is arranged in a rectangular heavy duty aluminum and brass frame. The 37 mm diameter compass has a nice silvered dial with a magnetic needle who seats on agate stone, a nice brass level and a side locking system. The rectangular mining clinometer is a pendulum type and has the dial activated by squeezing a small silver button. The the hand level can be found attached inside of the frame. A small retractable sight with a nice crosshairs is present at the end of the device. Dimensions: 108 mm L x 59 mm W x 15 mm H. The condition of the device is excellent with minimal wear and tear due to the age.
