Antique Gold Gilt Compass Made In England From Georgian Era
Here is a fine example of a rare Gold gilt small brass compass with porcelain dial made in the first quarter of 1800’s in England. The compass pendant has a high-quality and sensitive bar needle with a jeweled top and is covered by a slightly domed glass. The locking system can be activated by sliding the small level left or right. Diameter of the compass is 20 mm and the height is 8 mm. Weight: 10.5 grams.
