SOLD This is a an antique pocket altimeter barometer signed Charles G. Ewing San Francisco most likely made in the late 1800's. The silver barometer dial has a nice face with markings from 24 hg/in to 31hg/in . The altimeter's scale is uniquely custom calibrated for this device from zero to 6000 feet and can be set by the rotating bezel and screw. The heavy duty body of the altimeter is most likely made of nickel silver alloy. Comes in a nice fitted leather, wood and satin case. The condition of the barometer is excellent. The case has some minimal wear and tear due to the age. Dimensions: 50mm diameter and 20mm height.
